Saskatchewan faces the highest rate of child care deserts in Canada, with limited licensed spaces and major staffing and funding challenges despite government commitments to expand; SFEL continues to support members and advocate for sustainable solutions as the province works toward meeting its ambitious childcare goals.

The Saskatchewan Early Learning Leaders Caucus has developed a document outlining recommendations for the Saskatchewan government to follow in the development of a workforce strategy that works for our province, educators, children and families.
